Berau Regency

Hi, do u know about Berau Regency ? well maybe not all peoples know about Berau Regency, so today i wanna share with u what is Berau Regency and where is Berau Regency.
Ok, Berau Regency is one of six regencies in East Kalimantan or some peoples called East Borneo and then before we talk about Berau Regency i need to tell u that East Kalimantan is a province of Indonesia. Lol i think now u know where is Indonesia.
Come back to topic, if u have plan or idea to visit Indonesia i guess you can try to spend your holiday in Berau Regency. Why i told you lika that ? well i will tell u right now.

look this is map of Berau Regency, nahh the beautifull place in Berau are Derawan Island, Kakaban Island, Sangalaki Island and Maratua Island. Let me tell you one by one.

Look at this, may be u can find this place in some place of Indonesia like Bali which Bali so famous with their beach, their cultural and hmmm their club, but if u wanna feel how is the nautical tourism u need to visit the sea turtles conservation areas and you will see stunning beauty of the waters.
How to go to Derawan Island ?
If you are from Jakarta or another place except Kalimantan, you can take flight from Jakarta to Balikpapan then you take flight again from Balikpapan to Berau. Airlines that serve flights Balikpapan-Berau are Sriwijaya Air, Wings Air, Kalstar and Garuda Indonesia, and then in Tanjung Redeb you can take travel car to go to Tanjung Batu and Speedboat to go to Derawan Island.
Where you will stay There ?
So many choice to stay in Derwan Island, you can find resort, inn, homestay and cottages from minimum price around 150,000 Rupiah until million Rupiah this is depend your budget :p.

What you will do in Derawan island ?
In Derawan Island of course we will travel under water and sea, there are some islands that can be visited in Derawan they are Maratua, Kakaban, Sangalaki, Nabucco, Bakungan and Derawan Islaand.
When you visit Kakaban you can swim with jellyfish dont be scare because this jellyfish will not make you dead and there is you will see coral reefs.

And one of my favorite place which i really want to make it as my holiday agenda in Berau this is Labuan Cermin. Labuan Cermin is a unique lake are has two types of water are fresh and salted and also in Labuan Cermin you will see view of the water with three shades are dark blue, light blue, white and green are very clear and shiny like a mirror and we can reflect on it. Bottom of the lake which has a depth of more than 3 m this we can see clearly the various biota in the free-swimming lake. Labuan Cermin located in the village Biduk-biduk, Berau Regency.

This is nice right ? well i guess if you wanna holiday or maybe honeymoon you can take Berau as your trip because there is still look so natural you can feel so calm with local people.
